Job Description:

Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Painting is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Auto Body Prepper/Taper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in prepping and taping vehicles efficiently and accurately for painting in a high-volume production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and taping with precision.
• Ensure all surfaces are properly cleaned and prepped to achieve a flawless paint finish.
• Apply tape and masking materials quickly and accurately to prevent overspray.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced production line while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Follow Maaco’s established procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto body prep and taping, preferably in a high-production shop.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Professional work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in auto painting and bodywork.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a Maaco or similar collision repair and auto painting environment.
• Familiarity with different paint types and surface preparation techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
