What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Line Technician position at Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting?
Progressive and modern automotive body shop in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking
energetic and dependable people to fill Paint Line Technician positions. Positions
include those responsible for sanding and masking to prep vehicles for painting as
well as vehicle detailing after paint to prep vehicle for delivery. Candidate must be
able to work at production shop pace and be able to demonstrate consistent quality.
While experience is a plus but not essential, a positive attitude and willingness to
learn are required. Training will be provided. Dependability and ability to adapt are
essential. Position is full time and paid hourly based on qualifications and
experience. References are required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform sanding, masking and/or detailing work per company standard operating procedures
- Maintain a high level of production to meet vehicle per day goals
- Cooperate in management's training efforts to develop new employees skills
- Use all materials in a judicious manner
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all safety rules and regulations as defined by management
- Maintain the quality standards established by management
