Job Summary
Full-time, year-round (school year, 5-week summer school and orientation days) position providing direct and ongoing supervision, instruction and support to all assigned students, while coordinating day-to-day operations of a dormitory. You’ll provide a highly-structured and therapeutic dormitory environment designed to promote growth and independence through assessment, direct instruction, positive reinforcement and the setting of clear and consistent expectations. You’ll also meet the individual and collective needs of assigned students relative to their unique learning styles, social/emotional needs, and the fostering of independent living skills.
This position requires professionalism, maturity, initiative and a positive, proactive, student-oriented style. Desired qualifications include a degree in Human Services, Education or related field and/or experience working with children and adolescents with learning differences and/or intellectual disabilities within a residential setting.
This position offers a 4/day work week schedule, generous benefits package and includes tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities.
