Position Description
Maas Energy Works is seeking a new Junior Field Technician to support and maintain the ongoing operations of dairy digester projects in the area of [Galt, Tulare, Merced, Fresno County, or Buckeye Arizona]. Successful applicants that will be highly motivated, with an ability to quickly learn industry-specific skills. Applicants must understand mechanical equipment and effectively work independently or with remote support to troubleshoot issues within industrial systems on multiple sites as they arise. Equipment to be maintained includes large internal combustion engines, biogas pipelines, 3-phase motors, electric manure pumps, electrical wiring, PLCs, and industrial flares. This position will work in close coordination with company office staff to ensure high-quality outcomes for operations and good relationships with partners.

This job mainly operates in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, etc. Noise level may be loud at times and works around moving mechanical or construction equipment.
Physical Demands
Must be able to move objects of at least 50 lbs., and use leg, abdominal, and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.

Responsibilities
- Travel to various facilities for routine and preventative maintenance ensuring that all equipment and systems are operating as designed while maximizing facility up-time.
- Troubleshoot issues on-site or remotely as they arise.
- Maintain spare parts inventory as needed.
- Communicate via email, text, and phone with team members, clients, and business partners as necessary.
- General mechanical and electrical experience preferred (1 years).
- Be able to demonstrate analytical thinking with an ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues timely.
- Ability to work in an unsupervised field.
- Proficiency in Spanish is helpful but not required.
- Must possess a valid US driver’s license.
- Must be proficient in English.
