Position Description
The Project Manager Assistant - Offtake Contracts supports the execution and administration of offtake credits that capture the value of Environmental Attributes generated in the process of making Renewable Natural Gas. This role involves assisting Sales Personnel, in-house Environmental Attribute & Compliance Accountants, as well as offtake clients in the successful execution of various contracts.The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate regulatory frameworks related to renewable energy markets.
Responsibilities
Assist the Sales team in creating and executing offtake contracts.
To act as the liaison with internal teams to ensure compliance across various renewable credit programs.
Manage projects and execute sales contract obligations by managing workflows and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
Problem solve tactical offtake challenges in collaboration with Operations & Gas Portfolio Managers.
Market Research: Assist in researching updates to renewable energy credit programs and market trends, ensuring the company remains informed and competitive.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining files, and updating project management tools.
Communicate with clients, brokers, and regulatory agencies as needed to support contract-related inquiries and transactions.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
Basic understanding of renewable energy credit programs (RIN, LCFS, M-RETS etc.) a plus.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience with project management tools or software is a plus.
