What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relief Residential Counselor position at MAB Community Services?
Adult Disability Services, a department of MAB Community Services, serves adults with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. We are proud to have a team of enthusiastic professionals who are passionate about supporting individuals with a range of disabilities live full lives and who desire to grow professionally.
Candidate must have the desire to help individuals connect to their community, assist in the development and implementation of rehabilitation goals.
Requirements:
-Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, problem-solving skills, and basic computer literacy.
-A minimum of one years’ experience working with adults with disabilities is preferred. But willing to train the right candidate!
-A high school diploma is required; experience in this field is strongly preferred.
-Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required.
-Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification, CPR Certification, First Aid certification are preferred; must have the ability to become certified.
