What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bowling Technician position at Mac Daddys?
We are looking for a mechanically inclined and self-starting individual to assist in the preventative and corrective maintenance of our Brunswick GSX bowling pinsetters. You will be responsible for assisting with functionality and reliability of the machines to provide a great bowling experience for customers. An excellent mechanic must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. We will train.
- Availability: Day shift, night shift, holidays
- Must 18 years or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Pay: $13-15/hr.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, clean, and lubricate machines subassemblies, motors, and electronics
- Adjust sensors, switches and tolerances for functionality issues
- Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
- Read, analyze, and interpret common technical manuals and schematics.
- Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems
- Apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of practical problems
- Complete all assigned work on associated systems to include but not limited to:
- Maintaining lane approaches, oil conditions, lane machine, gutter and bumper systems, lane lighting, and tool/parts control
- Keep logs of work, report on status of issues, and communicate in detail
Work environment/Physical demands: Bowling center/arcade environment where you will walk, bend and stand for periods of time, and may be asked to lift up to 50lbs often; The noise level is typical for near bowling pinsetter environments.
