Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all equipment and materials are in place.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Manage food service operations, including serving food and beverages while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently during events.
- Support event management teams with logistics, including crowd control and guest flow.
- Engage with children during events, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
- Utilize conflict management skills to address any disputes or concerns among guests professionally.
- Participate in public speaking engagements as needed to facilitate activities or provide information about the event.
Experience
Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Theater or performing arts, providing an understanding of stage management and audience engagement.
- Working with children, demonstrating patience and creativity in a lively environment.
- Hospitality or resort settings, showcasing strong customer service skills.
- Events management, highlighting familiarity with planning and executing successful events.
- Food service experience, ensuring knowledge of safe food handling practices.
- Cash handling experience for accurate transaction processing.
- Public speaking abilities to confidently communicate with diverse audiences.
- Lifeguard certification is a plus for events involving water activities.
