Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Respond to IT support requests in person, over the phone, or via email
- Set up and configure new equipment for users
- Collaborate with the help desk team to resolve technical problems
- Analyze and resolve network and system issues
- Ensure security measures are in place on all devices
- Provide technical support for Windows, Mac OS, Windows Server, and other operating systems
- Familiarity with firewall configurations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in analyzing and solving technical issues
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, mobile devices, and office software applications
- Experience with remedy ticketing system is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
