Position Summary:
The Global Vice President of Sales and Marketing is a key executive leadership role responsible for driving the company's worldwide sales and marketing strategy, managing global sales teams, and overseeing the performance of regional sales operations. This role requires an experienced and dynamic leader with a strong understanding of electrical connector markets, customer needs, and global business dynamics. The Global VP of Sales and Marketing will develop and execute strategies that will drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer satisfaction in line with the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development and Execution:
- Lead the development and execution of the global sales strategy, aligned with the company’s overall business goals and market dynamics.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and potential strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth.
- Set ambitious but achievable sales targets for all regions, closely monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
Marketing Strategy and Execution:
- Lead global marketing efforts, including branding, digital marketing, product marketing, and communications strategies.
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to create go-to-market plans for new product launches and innovations.
- Drive demand generation, lead qualification, and conversion through strategic marketing campaigns, content creation, and market research.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, sales collateral, and technical documentation to support sales teams globally.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performance global sales team, providing clear direction and fostering a culture of collaboration and results-driven performance.

Sales Operations and Reporting:

Global Sales Coordination and Integration:

Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field;
- MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
Experience:
- 10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership, with a minimum of 5 years in a global sales executive role, preferably within the manufacturing or electrical components industry.
- Proven track record of leading global sales teams and delivering significant revenue growth in complex, international markets.
- Strong experience in B2B sales, managing key accounts, and establishing strategic partnerships.
- Extensive knowledge of the electrical connector market, industry trends, and customer demands.
