We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at our High Point, NC manufacturing facility. This leadership role will focus on optimizing processes, ensuring quality standards, and driving operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop plant personnel to foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Oversee resource planning, workforce scheduling, and professional development initiatives.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide continuous feedback to support career growth.
Operational Execution:
- Oversee plant operations, including production, maintenance, safety, and quality control.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and industry regulations to create a secure working environment.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational improvements.
- Develop and manage the plant's budget, optimizing cost control measures.
Production & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure production processes meet efficiency, quality, and safety objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to support new product development and process innovations.
- Implement and enforce quality control standards to meet customer expectations.
- Drive automation and technological advancements to improve manufacturing capabilities.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing practices and optimize processes.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in manufacturing.
Strategic Planning & Risk Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Identify potential risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Industry Expertise: Experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing within the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or electrical components industry preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
