The Inventory Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing inventory data, reporting, and analytics to drive operational efficiency and business success. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in inventory management, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The Inventory Analyst, leveraging their expertise and business acumen, will develop and deliver insightful analyses, process improvements, and comprehensive reporting for both internal and external stakeholders. They will also provide critical project support, ensuring data-driven decision-making that increases company value. This position will influence key financial and operational decisions through strategic inventory management.

Essential Position Functions :
- Reporting and Data Management :
Conduct multifaceted inventory analyses across multiple lines of business (LOB).
Interpret data and organize analyses in clear and concise reporting. Provide meaningful insights to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.Regularly provide organization with inventory reporting that optimizes procurement, highlights inventory trends and identifies stock issuesBuild and report metrics to monitor performance against strategic initiativesEnsure proper item maintenance management in ERP system, with regular reviewsInventory Analysis and Optimization :Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and sales teams to align inventory levels with business needs
Work with sourcing team to develop and execute product forecast modelAnalyze and report lead times, MOQs and safety stock variations to ensure buy accuracyAnalyze internal data and generate reports using multiple data sources that support inventory strategic initiativesProcess Improvement :Ensure preparation of accurate and timely inventory and procurement reports for internal and external reporting

Education and / or Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldMinimum of three (3) years of experience in a supply chain, inventory management, or data analytics role. Experience in manufacturing or distribution is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface with customers at all levels, both internally and externally.Well organized and self-directed with excellent organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills. Must be able to efficiently use a Windows-based computer.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Ability to independently complete multiple time-sensitive tasks and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.An in-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making. Previous experience with ERP systems and data warehouse tools.Must be able to read and communicate in English for safe and effective performance of the job and business operations.Must be able to work alone and with a team.Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.Work Environment :
