General Summary

The City of Richland is looking for a well qualified part-time Administrative Assistant for our Information Technology Division.

Target Hiring Range : $26.23 - $31.48 per hour (DOQ)

Part Time Opening - 20 Hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Tentative schedule will be 4 hours per day (morning hours before 1pm), ONSITE at City of Richland IT offices.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Performs administrative support work providing general clerical and office support duties to assigned department or division, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the close supervision of the assigned Director, Manager or Supervisor ("supervisor").

Minimum Qualifications

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED and one (1) year of experience in an office setting.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in data entry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in customer service.
  • Prior experience in the following areas as it relates to IT : license renewal tracking, purchasing and requisitions, monitoring and maintaining contracts with vendors and suppliers and maintaining Service Level Agreements.
  • General working knowledge of information technology operations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
