Cascade AIDS Project is excited to announce that we are hiring a skilled and team-oriented Housing Case Manager. The Housing Case Manager will provide services that include home-based housing case management, goal planning, information and referral services, advocacy with and on behalf of clients, and eviction prevention for individuals and families living with HIV. This position works with clients in our Supportive Housing Program who may have co-occurring mental health and addiction issues and are homeless, at risk of homelessness or have a history of chronic homelessness.
This is a Full-Time (40 hours a week) role working at our Davis St. location inOld Town of Portland OR. But will travel throughout the 5 counties. The schedule for this role is a Hybrid at least 3 days in office; Monday-Friday 8 : 30am- 5 : 00pm. Some nights and weekends may be required.
The starting pay is a yearly salary of $47,370.59. The Housing Case Manager’s Pay increases with tenure and the top of the pay scale is $55,170.59 . This is a union represented position, so the compensation, benefits and conditions of work are collectively bargained.
Who You Are
- Two years’ experience relevant to the position or bachelor’s degree in human / social services field (social work, public or community health, psychology) or related field
- Prior experience providing case management (or similar) services
- Prior experience working with people experiencing homelessness, mental illness, and / or substance addiction
- Ability to travel throughout the service area on a frequent basis
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Available to work occasional evenings and weekends
