Job Appointment : Casual
Work Schedule : Schedule will be on average 24-40 hours per week. This role will work with their hiring manager to determine their schedule.
Note : This Community Service Aide (CSA II) position has a maximum of 1,400 hours in a calendar year.

Position Summary
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) Operations Group is seeking a team member who will be responsible for tracking and collecting inventory of the following items across Downtown Portland, Oregon -
- On-street signage
- Pavement markings
In addition, this role will assign condition ratings to the signage included in their inventory. This data collection effort will require extensive field work in specified areas of Downtown Portland.
Data will be collected and stored on a tablet. The majority of this work will be conducted on-foot. During the workday, the Parking Sign Inventory Support role will have limited field supervision.
However, daily check-ins with the Parking Control Supervisor will be required.
As Parking Sign Inventory Support ( CSA II), you will :
- Collect on-street inventory of identified transportation signage and pavement markings.
- Identify missing regulatory signs and areas where signage may be reduced.
- Assign a condition rating to assess needed maintenance.
- Coordinate data collection effort with an Engineering Technician and Business Analyst.
