The Program Coordinator, Girl Scouts Beyond Bars (GSBB) at Girl Scouts of Western Washington (GSWW) helps with logistics and program delivery for Girl Scouts in grades K-12th participating in the GSBB program at all designated Department of Correction (DOC) facilities in Western Washington. This program supports the social, emotional, and educational development of youth who may not have participated in Girl Scouts and have an incarcerated family member. The Program Coordinator will help with tailoring curriculum to address the specific needs and interests of the Girl Scouts involved, ensuring members experience quality program delivery based on the Girl Scout Leader Experience (GSLE). The Program Coordinator will also assist with and participate in virtual meetings, DOC facility troop meetings, planning meetings, outings, camp sessions, cookie sales, and recruitment activities. This position requires extensive travel across Western Washington in both GSWW and rental vehicles.
This is a regular, full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt role with the requirement of residency in Washington, preferably within King County (greater Seattle area). This is a hybrid role, with the primary work location in Seattle (Georgetown neighborhood). Successful candidates must be willing and able to work out of this office, as well as alternative GSWW offices as needed or when requested. While the full pay range for this position is $23.58 to $27.74 per hour, this position will start at $23.58 per hour for internal pay equity.
