Stone Soup PDX is a nonprofit dedicated to building economic stability for individuals facing barriers to employment through hands-on culinary training and community meals. We are seeking a Program Manager to oversee our Culinary Workforce Training Program, combining culinary expertise with program management to transform lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Culinary Training : Oversee the 12-week culinary workforce training program, providing direct instruction, mentorship, and workforce readiness support to participants.
- Kitchen Management : Supervise day-to-day training kitchen operations, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
- Team Leadership : Manage a team of Chef Instructors, Support Services staff, and Employment Specialists, fostering collaboration and participant success.
- Program Development : Refine and enhance program curriculum based on data, feedback, and participant needs while maintaining program goals and metrics.
- Partnership Building : Cultivate relationships with employment partners, community organizations, and funders to expand program reach and secure job placements.
- Reporting & Compliance : Track program outcomes, manage budgets, and prepare reports to ensure compliance with funder requirements and organizational goals.
