Position Summary
The Rental Coordinator & Event Technician manages the marketing, sales, and coordination of private event rentals. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, handling tours, cost estimates, communication, and problem-solving. The position ensures seamless execution of private events while providing excellent client support.
Essential Job Functions
The individual in this position is expected to engage in the following work-related activities.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Technical and Analytical Skills : Proficient in reading, recording, and interpreting information using computerized and paper systems. Basic knowledge of audio / visual equipment and understanding of database logic. Skilled in Microsoft Office.
- Customer Service and Communication : Exemplary customer service and strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with staff, volunteers, guests, donors, clients, and vendors.
- Organizational Abilities : Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining accurate records and follow-up.
- Problem-Solving and Teamwork : Resourceful, dependable, and an effective problem solver. Collaborative and team-oriented, supporting Nordic Northwest’s mission and values.
- Personal Attributes : Demonstrates patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor.
- Other Requirements : Valid Oregon driver’s license required.
Education and Experience Guidelines
High school diploma required. Some college preferred.
