What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at MAC Trailer Enterprises, Inc?
The Custodian keeps the facilities, throughout shop and office, in clean, orderly condition and performs heavy and light cleaning duties including but not limited to:
- Cleaning and vacuuming floors, washing walls and glass, and removing garbage.
- Cleaning bathrooms and lunchroom areas.
- Routine deep cleaning
- Routine maintenance activities
- Cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk.
- Notifying management of need for repairs
The ideal candidate will:
- Have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Be capable of working alone or in a team environment.
- Be able to concentrate on tasks without being distracted.
Typical work schedule is 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.
