About the Company:
MAC LTT is located in Kent, Ohio and manufactures custom, highly complex liquid tank trailers.
Job Description:
- Acquire knowledge of various department operations, functions, responsibilities, and work flow.
- Design weld and assembly fixtures and manufacturing aids that will be used throughout the plant.
- Assist in design/detail process.
- Individual will be involved in a variety of projects dealing with Manufacturing processes.
- Maintain communication with supervisor and others as necessary to include feedback on assignments.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum Major G.P.A. of 3.0.
- Co-op assignment could extend for additional semesters or year-round.
- Must be a student pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Welding and machining experience a plus.
- Solid modeling CAD experience preferred (SolidWorks).
- Hands on experience or an interest in working on machinery.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
