MAC Trailer is seeking a General Manager who will sustain and assist improving established and proven practices in our trailer manufacturing facility in Davis, Oklahoma. The preferred candidate will be a results-oriented leader with proven management philosophy of being hands-on, continually visible in the production environment and invested and committed to the awareness of safety, material & product flow, training, equipment, and succession planning.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Working Salary Range: $115,000 - $190,000
Performance Bonus Available
Top 6 Criteria:
1.) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in OEM manufacturing environment.
2.) Minimum of five years of senior level management experience within an OEM or component manufacturing facility.
3.) Ability to coordinate with all departments within the manufacturing facility to produce product as safe and as efficiently as possible.
4.) P/L experience, analyze budget requests, and allocate operating budget.
5.) Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles and continuous improvement philosophy.
6.) Ability to respond to customer inquiries, complaints and regulatory agencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- P&L responsibility
- Implements organization policies and goals
- Proposes plans and processes to develop operation improvements
- Prepares monthly management reports highlighting performance of the facility
- Reviews and evaluates warranty expenses monthly
- Works with senior management to identify annual goals. Review and measure KPI's monthly
- Monitors and reports safety metrics monthly
- Working closely with product managers on cost reductions and product improvements. This data should be reported and reviewed monthly
- Coordinates activities of departments to improve operational efficiency and throughput
- Analyzes division or department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made and allocates operating budget.
- Confers with administrative personnel and reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required.
- Promotes organization in industry, manufacturing or trade associations.
- Know, observe and enforce all the general safety rules and such special instructions as are set up for their department.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferred.
- Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training.
- Trailer knowledge, preferred.

- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including being physically capable of maneuvering self throughout, work area, product, equipment.
