We are excited to be adding a Inventory Control Specialist to the MAC Trailer Team. Our Inventory Control Specialist compiles records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment within the warehouse by performing the essential duties. Responsible for the correct and accurate inventory quantity on hand. This job offers motivated individuals the opportunity to work for a company that builds the trailers that move America.
Please note that shift hours are Mon - Thur 7am - 5:30pm with additional overtime.
Wage Range: $21.50 - $27.25

What you will do:
- Ensure the proper flow of inventory into the warehouse and to the production line
- Issue parts in accordance with trailer specifications or as requested by storekeepers
- Respond to and fulfill parts requests for vendors
- Monitor shortage list and notify purchasing of low inventory levels
- Process work orders and "pick tickets" and close any remaining work orders at the time the trailer clears
- Audit work orders for accuracy
- Monitor inventory received from Fabrication Department
- Monitor deliveries of trailer panels.
- Weigh scrap trailers arriving to and leaving the facility
- Make recommendations to the warehouse supervisor regarding disciplinary actions against any employees improperly handling or transacting inventory
- Continuously communicate, educate and train all others that may be incorrectly processing inventory transactions
- Any other duties assigned

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Or one to three months related experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a warehouse/factory environment
