Position Summary
This position will be responsible for equipment staging including weekly inventory audits. Individual maintains proper organization of machines and attachments in company yard while assisting with minor machine inspections and paperwork. Position Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinate all logistics for equipment deliveries utilizing internal and external transportation methods
- Monitor and maintain inventory information regarding order status, inventory availability for all equipment and parts at various locations to ensure minimal inventory loss
- Assists with the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Correctly stages units: refueling, steaming, downed for repairs, readying to rent and/or sell, etc.
- Conducts minor machine inspections, checking for visual damage or tire leaks.
- Maintains organization of machines and attachment in yard.
- Assists with condition reports, forwarding information to appropriate parties as needed.
- Directs customers and haulers to proper locations.
- Conducts weekly inventory audits of machines and attachments.
- Communicates incoming and outgoing units
- Changes attachments such as combine heads, etc. to meet customer specifications.
- Other duties as assigned
Required
- High School Degree or GED
- 2 years or more of experience operating Heavy Equipment and/or Agriculture Equipment
- Valid Driver's Licenses
- Strong multitasking abilities, detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Professional demeanor with both internal and external contacts including personal appearance and friendly, courteous treatment of peers, and people at all levels inside and outside the organization
- Proficient computer and data entry skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and the ability to learn MacAllister/Michigan Cat systems
- Ability to build and maintain effective customer and professional relationships through strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship-building and consistent demonstration of solid professional judgment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and listening skills
