As a Roof Loader, you will play a crucial role in stocking and preparing orders of building materials for distribution to a network of customers. This position requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently organize building materials using various equipment.
- Follow daily operations schedule and adjust to customer needs.
- Work comfortably under close supervision within a stable, secure team environment.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and yard work areas.
- Make decisions within clear guidelines with support from team members and management.
- Manage time pressures and changing situations with support from management.
- Learn new tasks and responsibilities with ample time and opportunity for practice.
- Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in work quality.
Requirements:
- Patient work style with a focus on consistency in repetitive routines.
- Adhere to company safety policies and prioritize safety at all times.
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely.
- Work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 80-pound bundles on steep slopes.
- Walk bundles to be placed on different parts of a roof.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 4 stories high.
