Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tractor Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and groundskeeping, with the ability to operate various types of farm tractors and equipment effectively. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of our properties, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Duties
- Operate tractors and other machinery for mowing, landscape maintenance, and groundskeeping tasks.
- Perform tree trimming and care to promote healthy growth and enhance the appearance of landscapes.
- Utilize hand tools for various maintenance tasks, including lawn care and building projects as needed.
- Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections, performing minor repairs, and ensuring all machinery is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects on time and according to specifications.
- Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling tools to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in planning and executing landscape designs that meet client expectations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operating tractors and related equipment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining machinery.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care, tree care, and brush hog / triblade techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to equipment operation are a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
