Established boutique Portland law firm seeking full-time associate attorney. We represent employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in the defense of workers’ compensation claims. In addition, we advise employers regarding employment issues including the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, OSHA / WISHA, and related return to work matters.
Candidates must have zero to three years of workers' compensation or civil litigation experience, possess strong academic credentials, be a self-starter, work as a team player, and be able to manage a caseload with minimal supervision. Candidates must have excellent research, communication, and organization skills, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates should possess a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing with the Oregon and / or Washington State Bars. We will consider applications from recent bar examinees as well.
