Commercial Roofer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work on various commercial projects. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork. As a Commercial Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Install Duro-Last roof systems
• Fill in on Service when needed to help repair a variety of roofing systems including flat and metal roofs.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete roofing tasks.
• Fabricate roofing materials as needed for specific projects.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields is preferred. Pay can be negotiated based on previous flat roofing experience.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
• Commitment to safety standards and practices on the job site.
• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Preference given to those with:

• Previous flat roofing repair/installation experience
• Valid OSHA10 or OSHA30 (if you do not have, company will pay for course but it must be completed within first 90 days of hire)
• Fall protection training
• First Aid/CPR certification
