Backed by institutional capital and led by an experienced leadership team, the company is known for its data-driven approach and disciplined investment strategy across major U.S. logistics markets.
They are now seeking an Acquisition Analyst to join their Boston-based team. This is a great opportunity for a finance-oriented professional looking to deepen their underwriting expertise and eventually transition into a more active investment and deal sourcing role.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed Excel models to underwrite potential acquisitions, including core, value-add, and development opportunities.
- Conduct submarket research and analyze supply/demand fundamentals to support investment decisions.
- Review rent rolls, operating statements, and tenant profiles to assess asset quality and risk.
- Support the preparation of investment committee materials and deal summaries.
- Assist in due diligence efforts including third-party coordination, lease abstracting, and financial validation.
- Maintain internal databases and track pipeline activity, broker interactions, and market intelligence.
- Over time, support and participate in sourcing and evaluating new acquisition opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in real estate investment, investment banking, or related financial roles.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modeling capabilities; ARGUS experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of real estate finance and investment principles; prior industrial experience preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify key drivers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and excited about the opportunity to grow into an originations-focused role.
- Based in or open to relocating to Boston, MA.
