Summary:
Macdonald & Company has been exclusively retained to appoint an executive to lead the accounting and finance functions for a real estate investment firm in Nashville, TN
This leader will be responsible for managing the financial health of the firm, providing strategic direction, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role will involve overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and investment activities, as well as managing relationships with banks, investors, and other key stakeholders.
This role will report directly to the President of the firm. It is a hybrid position with both remote and in-office expectations. Relocation packages are available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Budget Management: Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring accurate forecasting and resource allocation across projects.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure liquidity for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Investment Oversight: Evaluate and manage investments in new projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy and risk appetite.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: Build and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and other financial partners.
Skills & Qualifications:

- Familiarity with Sage Intacct strongly preferred
Salary : $250,000 - $350,000
