- Responsible for and manages the orderly and proper receipt of all supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Ensures the control, safekeeping, custody, accuracy, and integrity of all goods received and ensures that all goods are delivered to the appropriate client or department.
- Loading and unloading items from the distribution trucks; sorting, stocking and distributing products to designated production areas.
- Responsible for overseeing inventory and tracking.
- Reconciles purchase orders with sales orders, and distribute received inventory to designated production areas.
- Checking inventory receipts, and inspecting the quality and quantity of the items.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
- Preparing shipping documents, interacting with freight forwarders, commercial trucking services, Fed Ex, etc.
- Determining shipping cost / postage, labeling boxes, writing addresses and preparing bills of lading.
- Collaborates and communicates with team members, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Provides a weekly dashboard / report on statistics to Director to include inventory numbers, etc.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and safe area.
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Provides additional backup support for other warehouse areas.
- Drives forklift, as required.
- Focuses on a people-first approach across the organization.
- Maintains a collaborative work environment and works well with others.
- Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. AA / AS strongly preferred. Must have 2 years of logistics, retail, or customer service experience. Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date. Experience with technology, computer and email is required – must have intermediate Excel skills and good with spreadsheets. Experience with Zenventory or other inventory software. Must follow safety protocols. Detailed oriented and accuracy is a must. Experience with scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock, receiving, stocking, and stacking, pulling, packing, and loading. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong sense of time organization and urgency. Able to work independently and within a team. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work a flexible schedule, if needed.
Must pass Level 2 background screening, local law enforcement, and drug screening and have a clean driving record.
