Restoration Technician - Water Jetting Specialist

Position Overview:
MacFawn Fire & Flood Restoration is seeking a hardworking and skilled Restoration Technician - Water Jetting Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing a wide range of property restoration services with a specific focus on water jetting operations. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in water jetting or a similar field, along with experience in restoration services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency restoration job sites.
• Perform high-pressure water jetting for cleaning, debris removal, and restoration tasks.
• Conduct building board-ups, water extraction, and fire damage cleaning.
• Handle pack-outs of contents and debris removal from job sites.
• Perform demolition and reconstruction services as required.
• Provide daily job site notes and updates to supervisors.
• Implement and adhere to job site and vehicle safety standards.
• Maintain and inspect vehicles and equipment regularly.
• Keep work environments clean and organized.
• Assist in training and mentoring team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience in water jetting.
• Property restoration and construction experience preferred but not required (training provided).
• Ability to read, understand, and execute scopes of work.
• Strong understanding of job site hazards and safety protocols.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Must be capable of frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
• Ability to sustain long periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
• IICRC certifications preferred (pay scale increase available based on certifications held).
• Valid driver’s license required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
