We are looking for the right person to help fill our weekend machinist position. The base schedule is 36 hours per week, Friday through Sunday, and the compensation is based on 40 hours. The CNC machinist will be required to accurately and efficiently machine parts according to print by choosing the appropriate sequence of operations and executing the best setup to meet blueprint dimensions and tolerances.
Essential Functions :
- Set up and operate a machine utilizing a variety of lathes including vertical and horizontal.
- Perform daily equipment start-up and clean-up of equipment.
- Regular use of manual tools; Dial Calipers, Dial indicators, and OD / ID Mics to verify dimensions.
- Knowledge of Fanuc and / or Fagor controls.
