Account Director – NYC-Based (Hybrid)
We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Account Director to join our growing New York-based team. This role requires a seasoned marketing professional with a deep understanding of digital marketing, digital strategy, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will be a client champion and team leader, responsible for fostering strong relationships, driving high-impact campaigns, and leading cross-functional teams toward measurable success.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring seamless communication, trust, and partnership.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies tailored to each client’s business goals, leveraging emerging trends and technologies.
- Act as a strategic advisor, providing insights and recommendations that drive brand growth, customer engagement, and ROI.
- Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and strategy sessions to align on objectives, measure performance, and identify new opportunities.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Oversee and mentor a team of account managers, strategists, and creatives, ensuring efficiency, collaboration, and career growth.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (creative, media, strategy, analytics, and technology) to execute campaigns that are innovative, data-driven, and aligned with business objectives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and continuous learning, inspiring the team to push boundaries and deliver excellence.
Campaign Execution & Performance Management
- Manage and optimize campaign performance using key analytics tools, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality.
- Utilize data-driven insights to continuously refine strategies, improve KPIs, and demonstrate campaign impact.
- Lead presentations of campaign results, insights, and next steps to clients and executive leadership.
Growth & Business Development
- Identify opportunities for organic growth, upselling strategic services and new capabilities to existing clients.
- Support new business pitches and proposals, leveraging your expertise to win new accounts and expand the agency’s footprint.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer behavior shifts, and marketing innovations, ensuring clients receive cutting-edge solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in account management, preferably within a marketing, advertising, or digital agency.
- Proven ability to manage high-profile clients and multi-million-dollar accounts across diverse industries.
- Strong experience with integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, social, paid media, influencer marketing, and experiential activations.
- Deep understanding of consumer insights, data analytics, and performance marketing metrics.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Trello, Monday.com), analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Tableau), and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot).
