We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe machinist to work 1st or 2nd shift. Must have recent experience and capabilities in setup and running multiple machines.

Previous experience in CNC machining is required. Mastercam experience helpful but not required.

The CNC II Operator is the second of three levels of CNC machining center operator. This position requires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC machine tool operating procedures.

Setups involve familiarity with and understanding of program formats involving combinations of operations such as profile and contour milling, boring, recessing, turning, drilling, threading, etc.

Compensation Range (Negotiable based on experience) :

$30 / hour (additional $.86 / hour shift differential for 2nd shift)

Essential Duties / Responsibilities :

• CNC Lathe experience is required
• Machine setup and run production
• Performs first article and in-process inspections
• Ability to read drawings
• Perform offset changes
• Install cutting tools in machine
• Knowledge with inspection hand tools
• Experience in both lathes and mills is a plus

Skills / Knowledge :

• Proven skills and knowledge of 5-6 multi-axis lathe with live tooling
• Proven skills and knowledge of setup and operating CNC lathes
• Fluent in English (Speak, Read, Write)
• Experience with Mori Seiki lathes with Fanuc controls
• Citizen Swiss experience a plus
• Bi-Lingual English / Spanish a plus
• ISO 9001 : 2015 / AS9100 experience a plus

5 years as setup and CNC Machinist

Computer knowledge including Windows and Office required.
