Buddhist Religious Program Leader and Catholic Religious Education Coordinator – $20,00 - $25,00 p/h – USAF Academy, CO
The Role

We are seeking two exceptional individuals to fill these rewarding roles at the US Air Force Academy.
Buddhist Religious Program Leader:
- Teach Buddhist Dharma and lead meditation services weekly.
- Provide individual spiritual guidance.
- Coordinate retreats, speaker events, and interfaith activities.
- Support cadets’ religious needs through planning and administration of programs.
Catholic Religious Education Coordinator:
- Organize weekly religious education events.
- Plan and coordinate retreats for faith formation.
- Recruit and train volunteers and guest speakers.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for the Catholic community.

This is a part-time, contract 1099 vacancy.
Contract= 4 ½ years

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging educational programs in line with the needs of the faith community.
- Facilitate spiritual growth and provide mentorship.
- Collaborate with interfaith teams to foster inclusivity.
- Coordinate events such as retreats, liturgies, and speaker engagements.
- Manage reporting and compliance requirements.
The Person
Buddhist Religious Program Leader:
- Recognized leader in a Buddhist faith community with formal training and authorization to teach Dharma.
- At least 10 years of Buddhist training, including work with young adults.
- Strong knowledge of Buddhist ethical principles.
Catholic Religious Education Coordinator:
- Experienced in organizing religious education and coordinating volunteers.
- Strong understanding of Catholic theology and traditions.
- Skilled in event planning and volunteer management.
Salary : $20 - $25
