What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Device Supply Chain Manager position at Mack Molding?
Mack Molding is seeking a Medical Supply Chain Manager to direct and coordinate the team activities for the commercial and technical aspects of strategic sourcing and product development of purchased components used to manufacture products for our Medical Customers. The manager will develop and implement short and long term supply and sourcing strategies, will direct the procurement function, will analyze market and delivery conditions to determine material availability and prepare market analysis reports. The Manager will manage the system to evaluate vendor quotes, using negotiation and purchasing techniques, and will recruit and maintain high quality vendors, and will negotiate annual contract pricings for complex equipment, supplies and services. Will prepare and review contracts, bids, and proposals. The manager will conduct business reviews and QMS audits. Will supervise team of 5-7 procurement professionals.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in related field plus five years of experience, or ten years of related experience. Supervisory experience or proven experience providing direction to others Is required. Strong ERP and computer skills are essential. Procurement experience in an established manufacturing environment and ISO 13485 experience are preferred.
