What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Tech-Molding 1st and 3rd Shift-HQ position at Mack Molding?
Possesses working knowledge of hand tools and machinery; Possesses working knowledge of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment; Performs dye setting functions; Performs initial start ups of job for samples and production; Maintains machinery and/or tooling to maximize efficiency and quality of production; Troubleshoots equipment and machinery for production; Optimizes molding processes to achieve product quality, production efficiency and process repeatability; Maintains required inventories to support maintenance functions; Participates and drives cost reduction initiatives; See, reads, and follows ISO procedures, completes departmental daily set-ups, sheets, and logs; Maintains a safe, clean, and professional working environment; Fosters a cooperative, productive, and team oriented environment; Follows and adheres to lock out/tag out program; Maintains good attendance, flexibility in job assignment, adaptable to changing business needs, and continually learns and applies new skills; Meets minimum physical/mental demands with or without reasonable accommodations; Complies with all company policies and procedures; Trains others on knowledge and skills mastered; Other duties as assigned. Associates degree or certificate from two-year college or technical school desired.
