What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialty Operator (Painter) position at Mack Molding?
Essential Responsibilities:
Posses the ability to apply various industrial coatings per work instructions and DVQRs: Experience with copper shielding and its properties, water-soluble coatings, solvent basedcoating, texturing and paint additives; Ability to maintain paint guns and related equipment..Understanding of in-line, proportional paint mixing systems; Complete and maintain all required paperwork; Ability to use and understand Mack Molding's ISO policies and procedures; Follow all safety rules and regulations; Knowledge of health and environmental regulations relative to paints and industrial coatings; Maintain Mack's standard of housekeeping in all areas; Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Qualifications/License/Education/Required Experience:
High School Diploma or GED; Above average verbal, written and math skills
Unusual Working Conditions:
Exposure to temperatures of between 50F to 110F; Exposure in-plant to temperatures between 50F and 110F and plant odors from plastic and paint processing
Unusual Physical Requirement:
Ability to left up to 30 lbs. as required; Ability to bend, walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time; Ability to work a 10-hour shift schedule
