We are seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join our team in Roseville, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land development design, public infrastructure design, and/or hydrology and hydraulic stormwater and flood control modeling.
The Associate Civil Engineer will work under the general direction of senior staff on a wide range of land development and public infrastructure projects. This includes residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, as well as public infrastructure projects such as sanitary sewer, water supply, water resources, and storm drainage.
Responsibilities
- Supervise junior and assistant level staff
- Perform AutoCAD Civil 3D design and drafting
- Design grading and earthwork
- Perform hydrology/hydraulics calculations
- Coordinate with public agencies and other consultants
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited university
- Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in California (preferred)
- A minimum of 4 years of land development and/or public infrastructure design experience in California
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Some project management experience preferred
- Good communication skills and ability to work with a team
