What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Back Office Assistant position at MacKenzie Dermatology?
We are a fast paced specialty medical office with three providers looking for individuals that are reliable, dependable, dedicated, and demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to learn.
Responsibilities include documenting office visits and office procedures using standard SOAP note format in paper charts. Other responsibilities include assisting with biopsy and surgical procedures, educating patients on treatment plans, removing sutures, dressing changes, injections, lab requisitions, and phone triage.
Medical assistant diploma or certification and medical back office experience is a plus but not required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, neat/legible penmanship and professional appearance are necessary for the successful candidate.
