Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing quality mental health care to individuals, families, groups, and communities, assessing their mental health needs.
This person will develop a nursing diagnosis and plan of care, implement the nursing process, and evaluate it for effectiveness. The Nurse Practitioner will also deliver primary care services to the psychiatric-mental health population (assess, diagnose, and treat individuals and families with psychiatric disorders or the potential for such disorders using their full scope of therapeutic skills, including the prescription of medication and administration.), and provide quality care with maximum patient comfort and safety in the office setting. This person will carry a case load of patients for ongoing care and evaluations. Prescribe medications as needed.

Offers a flexible schedule with 35 patient contact hours weekly
Qualifications
All Applicants must be a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a MINIMUM of 3 years experience working as an Nurse Practitioner.
Must hold NYS license or ability to obtain
