Job Description
Accounts Receivable Representative, Financial Services
Temporary Full Time (Approximately 6 months)
As an integral role under the Finance department, the Accounts Receivable Representative will work in support of and in collaboration with the Patient Accounts Team to provide exceptional service to patients and their families as it relates to financial matters. Accounts Receivable representative role will include but not limited to reviewing all assigned accounts from billing until payment, mailing out all bills and claims daily, interviewing patients to set up billing contracts, receiving payment from patients and to post to their account, process OHIP/WSIB payments or adjustments, respond to customer inquiries, determine accounts to be sent to collections, prepare weekly interim billing letters, and any other duties as assigned by the Manager, Accounts Receivable & Patient Accounts. This role will also provide support to internal stakeholders in meeting their budget goals through the generation of patient revenues.
What must you have?
- College Diploma in Accounting or business-related Degree
- One year of experience in Accounts Receivable

Preferably, your profile also includes:
- Experience in a hospital environment
- One year of experience in Accounts Receivable
- Additional accounting courses
