About the role:
Mackenzie Stuart is partnered with a high-growth Ophthalmology platform that are searching for a Sr. Director of ASC Operations. As the Senior Director of ASC Operations, you'll oversee the operations, compliance, growth, and strategy of the Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement growth strategies aligning with organizational goals.
- Operational Management: Ensure seamless day-to-day ASC operations, optimizing patient flow and clinic efficiency.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and profitability for each ASC.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor ASC managers and staff, fostering professional development.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices for patient care.
- Marketing & Branding: Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and maximize patient acquisition.
- Relationship Building: Maintain partnerships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other medical professionals.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate practice performance through metrics and implement necessary improvements.
- Patient Experience: Prioritize patient satisfaction, addressing concerns effectively.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, ensuring competitive practices.
- Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Negotiate vendor agreements and optimize supply chain logistics.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and create contingency plans.
- Community Engagement: Represent the brand at community events to boost outreach.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for operational efficiency and elevated patient care standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field required.
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience required; ophthalmology experience preferred.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, RN) preferred.
- Proven experience managing multiple medical practices.
- Familiarity with AAAHC reaccreditation, Joint Commission, and CMS surveys/audits.
