Position Summary:
We are seeking a sub-contractor to represent our firm by conducting live auctions, traditionally held on courthouse steps, and posting/filing the Notice of Sale (NOS) at the courthouse with the County Clerk. While conducting auctions, you will interact with bidders and perform the necessary tasks to successfully complete each auction. You will also multitask to ensure all required processes are met. Additionally, you will contribute to your local community by educating customers on how to participate in auctions.
Territory:
The territory is centered around San Antonio, TX, with specific county coverage dependent on availability.
Schedule:
The typical schedule for contract work is as follows:
· Postings are completed every Thursday at the courthouse and filed with the clerk, 21 days prior to the sale (Tuesday). If a posting day falls on a holiday, alternate arrangements may be made.
· Sales are conducted at locations designated by the County Commissioner on the first Tuesday of every month.
Responsibilities/Duties:
As an Agent/Auctioneer, you will contribute to various functions of auctions and events. This may include, but is not limited to:
· Maintaining the highest level of professionalism with customers and on-site event location staff, such as deputies, government employees, and attorneys.
· Maintaining equipment and materials.
· Serving as a subject matter expert on customer resources.
· Engaging in professional communication and networking.
· Collecting customer information using our proprietary software.
· Completing customer receipts.
· Completing event reports.
· Participating in and contributing to scheduled training and team calls.
· Completing all tasks with high quality, efficiency, and attention to detail.
