Job Title: Pharmacy Tech

Pharmacy technicians play a vital role in healthcare facilities, assisting pharmacists with various tasks. In this position, you will work closely with licensed pharmacists to prepare and dispense medications, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and labeling
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Process prescriptions and ensure timely delivery of medications
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Contribute to a safe and efficient pharmacy environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
• Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) or registration (RPhT)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software

Work Environment:

This is a travel assignment with variable shifts, including 8-hour days and weekends. The schedule will be determined by the facility's needs. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
