A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER - PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER
Professional Engineer (PE) or EIT license is must in the state of California - Civil or Structural
As an Assistant Project Manager - Professional Engineer, you are excited to come to work each day to lead your team of Civil Engineers or Structural Engineers and Drafters to success. Because you are a great leader, you know how to motivate your team and utilize their skills to successfully complete projects. You produce structural analysis, designs, calculations, and details in an accurate and timely manner. Your understanding of contractual language assists you as you review project contracts, change orders, scopes of work, and other contract documents.
Due to your exceptional organizational skills, you are able to meet deliverable dates and keep projects within budget. With your strong communication skills, you develop and foster successful relationships with clients and strive for client satisfaction every time. It is rewarding to know that your hard work makes a positive impact on your community.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a Structural or Civil emphasis
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of California - Civil or Structural
- 3 years of structural engineering design experience
- Management experience
- Experience performing structural engineering calculations for commercial, education, and / or solar
- AutoCAD 2015 (or newer) 2D experience
- Working knowledge of Enercalc and RISA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe
