Position Purpose
This position is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of CNC machines to produce parts with tight tolerances.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be capable of working with blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
- Individual will be assigned to the Plastics Value Stream and must be proficient in the operation of all CNC, semi-auto, and manual machines utilized by Grade 15 and lower level operators.
- Will be responsible for assisting (when requested) in the programming of the CNC equipment to manufacture various components, including first article approval and the operation of all necessary inspection equipment.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must have obtained minimum of 36 months CNC Lathe and Multi-axis Mill experience in a production environment including NC programming, set up, troubleshooting and run.
- Must be able to read, write and interpret engineer diagrams.
