We have an immediate full-time career opening for a Logistics Coordinator. The logistics coordinator plays a key role in the communication process with internal and external customers, ensuring goods move in a timely manner for internal purchasing, external purchasing, services, and customers.
Essential Functions
1. Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing customer shipments and prepare all shipping requirements in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
2. Resolve transportation issues promptly, develop solutions to problems or discrepancies, and follow up to ensure resolution.
3. Provide and excel in customer service related to deliveries, schedules, order tracking, planning, and reporting.
4. Create transportation purchase orders for logistics suppliers.
5. Work directly with the Logistics Manager to identify, prioritize, and optimize business improvement opportunities.
6. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
