Upper School World History Teacher
Maclay School seeks a charismatic and innovative educator to serve as a full-time Upper School World History teacher, beginning in August. Successful applicants will have comprehensive content knowledge along with the ability to teach writing, research methods, and note-taking skills. Additional duties may include limited responsibilities outside the classroom, such as club sponsorship. Strong candidates will possess a proven track record of utilizing multiple instructional methods and strategies to address different student needs and effectively collaborate with colleagues to promote curriculum alignment and college preparatory skills.
Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in history, history education, or social studies education and a minimum of three years teaching experience in an independent school setting.
