Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Design Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. This internship provides hands-on experience in product design, SolidWorks modeling, and engineering documentation. Job Duties
PDM Support:
Assist in organizing and managing engineering data within the Product Data Management (PDM) system.
Support document workflows and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
Scanning & Digital Documentation:
Convert legacy engineering documents and drawings into structured digital formats.
Support efforts in digitizing and archiving technical records for accessibility.
Modeling & Drawing Assistance:
Collaborate with engineers to create and update 3D models and technical drawings.
Assist with drafting tasks using SolidWorks software to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
Floor Projects for Application System:
Collect and analyze on-site data to improve application system functionalities.
Assist in implementing digital tools on the shop floor for enhanced process tracking.
Experience and Education
Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of SolidWorks software (CAD, AutoCAD, or similar).
Familiarity with engineering documentation and version control.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical guidelines.
Interest in digital transformation, manufacturing processes, and process improvement.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
